Game Summary
First Half
It’s always a tough, physical evenly matched game against Midlands Soccer Academy (MSA) and today was no different. The home team started the game with the benefit of playing with the wind and took full advantage by scoring just four minutes into the game. Colron were caught cold but soon got into the game and put up a great fight throughout the first half frustrating the MSA attackers with a stubborn robust defence. Colron go into half time 1-0 down.
Second Half
The second half is a complete turnaround with Colron on the attack pressing the MSA defence. Colron continue to push forward to try to get back on even terms with the home team. Against the run of play the MSA attack breakthrough the Colron defence eight minutes into the second half. Colron continue to press and come close to scoring on several occasions but are unable to convert the chances into a goal. The game finishes 2-0 to MSA but the result doesn’t tell the story of the match, definitely a game of two halves.
Players of the Match
