Colron Boys Under 14s

Stonnall Juniors U14 1 – 7 Colron Boys U14s

Detailed Report

Colron Boys Under 14 Colts

Called off.

Colron United Under 13s

Colron Utd u13s 4 – 7 Leafield Athletic

Played Cup match against Leafield Athletic who are in the division above.
Started really well going 3-0 up but silly mistakes gave Leafield 2 goals HT 3-2. Second half slow start allowing Leafield to get back into the game, again poor mistakes gifted easy goals away with the final score 4-7 to Leafield.

Well done and good luck in the next round.

Colron Lions Under 13s

Bentley 3 – 3 Colron Lions U13

Good performance from all the team in another tough away game. It was an open game from end to end with both teams looking for the win. Some tough tackles were made from both teams. A fair result in the end.

Colron Boys Under 12s

Colron 2 – 3 South Redditch

Tight game against Premier opposition. Nip and tuck first half but started the second deservedly 2-1 up. Conceded early and then yielded to pressure in the final two minutes to an unwarranted defeat. Heads held though and the overall performance meant no one was too despondent. Onwards.

Colron Under 11s

Colron 2 – 1 Phoenix Rangers

Played some very good football in difficult conditions. Went 1-0 down against the run of play with an awarded penalty. Responded well to equalise before half time. Made the pressure count in the second half to go 2-1 up but didn’t convert several chances to win the game comfortably.

Colron Under 10s

It was the second weekend of the trophy event and we played 2 massive games in the group stages against 2 very good teams.

Colron U10s 4 – 1 Soho Albion

We won our first game beating Soho Albion 4-1 which was a big result.

Colron U10s 1 – 3 Wyrley Pumas

Unfortunately we suffered our first defeat of the season losing 3-1 to Wyrley Pumas which was really disappointing as we started well taking a 1-0 lead only to concede 2 really bad goals and then chasing the game conceded a third goal. We weren’t anywhere near our best and Wyrley Pumas probably just shaded it and deserved the win.

As long as we win both games next weekend we should still finish in the top two to qualify for the semi finals.
