Detailed Report
Colron United Under 13s
Colron Utd U13s 6-2 Bromford Lions
Slow getting started again today in the first half but second half came out a better team coming from 2-1 down at HT to comfortably win the game 6-2.
Played some good football and scored some great goals.
Colron Lions Under 13s
FC Premier 2 v 3 Colron Lions U13s
Local derby match so both teams keen to get the win. Another end-to-end game with lots of energy. In the end, Colron earnt their first win of the season, with a good team performance.
Colron Boys Under 12s
Kingshurst Sports Club 0 – 4 Colron Boys U12s
Much needed win for the boys in the league against spirited opposition. 1-0 at half time was about right but the second half saw our fitness and not insubstantial class come to the fore. 3 relatively quick goals meant it was over as a contest but the lads battled on, hitting the post, side netting and keeper. Excellent new addition in Elliot who joins from playing with a fair few of the boys in the Saturday side in Lichfield. Well earned break for half term. As Lewis says, hoping to play at home for the first time before the year is out!
Colron Aces Under 12s
Smethwick Rangers 2 – 4 Colron Aces U12s
Great passing and movement, with a change in formation to 5 across midfield. Comfortable first half going in 3-0 ahead, with Colron hitting the post 4 times in the match too. Closer second half and Smethwick battled back well. Possibly best team performance so far this season.
Colron Under 11s
Colron Boys u11s 8 – 1 Boldmere Falcons
A convincing performance with several fast-flowing moves and combination play resulted in several first-half chances. Having led 5-1 at the break, the dominance continued throughout the second half and if not for the brilliance of their keeper, the final score would have been much higher.
Colron Under 10s
This week the boys played in the Walsall Cup Trophy Event and won their first trophy of the new season.

Colron Under 8s
Colron U8s drew with Boldmere Bucks
Great game effort. Was amazing from the lads who should have had a handful more goals and won easily.
Much improved – playing as a team now.
