Again, there weren’t many matches this week.
Colron Under 11s
Colron U11s 5 – 0 Maypole
A convincing win this morning. After a hard fought first half we went in at half time 1-0 up, having dominated most of possession. The early exchanges were a battle in the second half but the quality of our play began to show and went on to create many chances in a deserved win.
Colron Under 8s
Colron U8s lost to South Redditch
Slow start to the game. Had a number of chances to get back into it 4-1 down but didn’t make the most of possession and chances. That said, the opposition goalkeeper kept out a number of God chances.
Learning more by each game that goes on. It was a good day out at Eldon, Drive, Walmley. Teas and coffees to keep warm and sausage and bacon sandwiches to keep the fans happy.
Colron Yellows Under 7s
Colron Yellows – Glades U7s
Colron Boys Blues Under 7s
Colron Blues beat Bustleholme U7s
A morning of two matches. Only five available this morning. Colron Blues U7 W v L Bustleholme U7s. Very tight first half with Colron going one up with literally the last kick of the half. Second half was plain sailing adding two further goals to cement the win.
Colron Blues lost to Hednesford Town U7s
The boys were tired for this one and although we pulled an early 2-0 deficit back to 2-1, Hednesford’s quality and squad size showed in the second half running out easy winners.
