The weather is not being kind to our footballers with many matches being cancelled this Sunday.
Colron Boys Under 14s
Colron Boys U14s 3 – 0 Hayes Jaguars U14s
Colron Lions Under 13s
Cup: Tipton 10 – 1 Colron
Tipton deserved the win, they played really well and the difference in divisions showed. Colron never gave up though and had a goal disallowed towards the end of the 2nd half.
Colron Under 11s
Colron Boys U11 0 – 1 Sutton Utd Pumas
Fantastic game of football this morning with two evenly matched teams going head to head. Having dominated the first half with the most pleasing performance with this group of players, we went 1-0 down against the run of play. Having squandered 3 great first half chances we went 1-0 down at the break. The second half did not disappoint with both teams creating chances to score. In a tight game that could have gone either way, we just couldn’t find the equaliser following a number of corners towards the end of the game.
Colron Under 10s
Colron 1 – 1 Wolverhampton
Colron drew the 1st match 1v1 against Wolverhampton sporting a very physical team. The game was very close and we played very good football but couldn’t get the winner.
Colron 8 – 1
In the second game of the day and final group game we finished 8v1 winners in a dominant performance and could have been a lot more, this meant we finished 2nd in group and go into Semi finals next weekend.
