Game Summary

First Half

Colron Boys start 2020 with a dominating performance. The first five minutes of the match is played in the Jaguars half, Colron putting the visitors under alot of pressure and on five minutes Jordan puts his boot onto a loose ball in the Jaguars penalty area and scores his first goal of the season. The game is still dominated by Colron until the Jaguars get a penalty awarded after a foul in the Colron area. The Jaguar number 9 takes a great penalty giving Ethan no chance. With the score 1-1 Colron continue to press, and in the last minute of the half Benzie picks up the ball on the edge of the Jaguars penalty area, goes past three defenders and scores with a great shot that beats the Jaguars keeper, Colron go into half time with a one goal lead.

Second Half

The second half follows the same pattern as the first, with Colron’s defence holding strong and Colron’s attack creating several clear chances. As the second half reaches the midway point, Benzie and Dylan create a great opportunity with a neat one two passing sequence in the Jaguars area ending with Benzie scoring his second goal of the match, 3-1 to Colron. With seventeen minutes of the match remaining Colron continue to pass the ball confidently creating more opportunities, the final whistle blows ending a totally dominant performance by Colron Boys, a great way to start the New Year.
