Under 7s

A trip over to Cadbury’s for the under 7s team where they came up against a very strong and organised team, the team never gave up but came out second best.

Under 8s Yellows

New kit and new home ground followed by a very strong start to the game going 3 up in 5 min. This allowed the team to play their passing game and build on the solid start. With goals for Charlie x5, Reuben x2, Zaine x2, Joe x1 and OG. Charlie being voted parents man of the match.

Under 8s Blues

Match report

Colron Blues W – L Lanes Head Devils

Match report: My favourite Ref of all time (No pushing, No shoving)

Under 9s – Dave P

Sheldon Royals L – W Colron

Great character and attitude to bounce back from the last two games. Through to the next round of the cup convincingly.

Some strong defending and exciting attacking moves with some even better finishes and 2 contenders of goal of the season from Veeran and Ira Wadey, Tom Daniel also getting on the score sheet along with a man of the match performance from Dan the man.

Under 10s

Under 10s – Walsall Phoenix Ravens

A promising start for Walmley Colron under 10s today, ending in a draw against Walsall Phoenix Ravens in the first game. A very evenly matched game, with Charlie just missing goal after a great free kick from the right wing.

Under 10s – Cresswell Tigers

The second match against Cresswell Tigers exposed Walmley Colron’s lack of fresh legs with a loss, however Colron still managed some great runs at goal and kept their chins up against the odds, Charlie scoring a deserved last goal of the match from distance.

Overall, a positive performance from the whole team who are having to absorb injuries on the field and press on while enlisting new players to boost the squad.

Under 11s – Lee Reynolds

A win for our boys against West Brom All Stars, A fantastic performance by all the boys.

Under 12s – Yousiff

Second game of the season in Division 1 and a thriller against a very strong side. After a solid performance first half we were 4:2 ahead until an injury left us on the back foot Hednesford took advantage to drew level . It was looking like a draw until a free kick on the edge of the box was converted followed immediately by the whistle which saw us lose 5:4. Looked very good in our new kit.
