1st Match: Walmley Colron U8 Whites W – L Great Barr Harriers
Good performance by the boys to start the league off. Went ahead early through Armaan with a great finish into the far corner, should have had more close after before conceding a sloppy goal to let Great Barr back in.
Great bit of play by Archie to get us back in front, again wasted a couple of chances but was fairly comfortable to see out the rest of the game.

2nd Match: Walmley Colron U8 Whites W – L Cresswell Tangs
Another good performance but we made it hard for ourselves here not taking our chances. Started brightly getting in a few times but not pulling trigger quick enough. Arturo pounced on a mistake before beating a defender and slotting home.
Conceded a silly free kick which resulted in a direct goal for Creswell from the free kick. Again threatened plenty but wasted chances. Got a free kick, and with great, quick thinking by Archie slotted it home before Cresswell had time to set up properly! Looked comfortable for the rest of the game bar a goalline save from Sartaj who got there just in time!
