Saints won the toss and chose to bat first. Brothers John and Ashley Hipkiss both contributed 21 apiece, and the number 7 a quick 15 off 6 balls before Nether Whitacre’s Connor Greaves came back into the attack for a devastating last few balls. After a couple of wickets, Broughton and Bainbridge put on a partnership of 67 to bring Nether Whitacre to just 20 behind Saints before Bainbridge was out for 41 off 37 balls. Broughton finished on 26 off 24 balls, but it was Lawrence who scored the winning runs hitting a six off the first, and only, delivery he faced. Minhas took 3 for 11 off 12 balls. Nether Whitacre won by 6 wickets.

Walmley vs Water Orton
Water Orton batted first. With most batsmen contributing a few, Shaluka Devinda top scored with 20 off 10. Fahim Jan was the pick of the Walmley bowling attack taking 4 for 11 off his 20 balls, as well as a catch off Hall. Newis (2 for 13 off 20) and de Silva (2 for 16 off 20) also picked up a couple of wickets each. Kaash Patel requested a mention for his splendid run out off the last ball of the innings to clench the full 5 bowling points for Walmley.
Sachin Dubb and Jon Newis opened the Walmley innings with Dubb scoring 23 off 11 balls before his luck ran out. Sarmad Bhatti, used to playing under professional lights which are located high over the field, took a moment to adjust to the lower lights at Walmley before hitting 3 sixes and a four off one unfortunate bowler’s five balls. On the 54th ball, Bhatti 42 off 23) finished things off with a six to secure the win for Walmley with 7 wickets to spare.
