Game Summary

First Half

The game was played at Holly Lane the home ground of Strike Soccer Academy, and the conditions were challenging to say the least, both teams struggling to stay upright on a waterlogged pitch. The home team adapted to the poor conditions quickly and played the better football during the first half and eighteen minutes into the game Strikes score and one minute later score again. Colron two nil down look a beaten team. The pressure continues but Ethan who is on top form keeps Colron in the game with some great saves. Colron go into halftime 2-0 down.

Second Half

With the weather worsening the second half is certainly going to be a battle if Colron are going to turn this match around. The second half starts where the first half left off with Strikes initially controlling play but Colron slowly start the fight back with a goal from Owen who scores a great goal twenty minutes into the second half. Colron now back in the match start to press forward and six minutes late a foul on the edge of Strikes penalty. Dylan steps up and takes the free kick and hits it low into the bottom right-hand corner of the Strikes goal. The match finishes 2-2, a great come back by the boys in difficult playing conditions.
