The Walmley Way – Codes of Conduct

For the enjoyment and safety of all, we have various codes of conduct and policies in place. Please make sure you are familiar with all those which apply to you and your family and guests by reading the pages linked below.

Codes of Conduct

ECB Anti Discrimination Code (pdf)
This applies to all members and guests present at any cricket match at Walmley CC. This code was accepted by the Management Committee on 3/5/2022 and will be brought to an EGM in 2023.
Members and Guests
Members and guests include all members and officers of Walmley Sports and Cricket Club and all guests of those members and officers, as well as all who watch/attend/take part/officiate in matches hosted by the Club in whatever capacity.
Youth Players
All players under the age of 18.
Parents/Guardians/Carers
This policy applies to all parents, guardians and carers of players.
Changing Rooms
These guidelines apply to the arrangements to be made for adults, and children, using changing facilities, and all present at a match or training session.
Whistle Blowing Policy
This policy applies to everyone.
Inclusion and Diversity
This policy applies to everyone.
Photography, Filming and Social Media Broadcasting
This policy applies to photography of youth players, including opposition players.
Transport of Youth Players
This policy applies to parents/guardians and those who might be transporting youth players.
Net Policy
Rules on the use of the nets during organised sessions and by those with a net pass.

Walmley Sports and Cricket Club Policies

Anti-bullying policy
In our anti-bullying policy, we explain what bullying is, why we should care about it, signs it might be happening and what we will do to deal with it.
Safeguarding policy
This policy covers our commitment to ensuring all those under the age of 18 participating in cricket, football, basketball, dart and other sports offered by the club have a safe and positive experience.
Community Contribution Policy
The policy covers our policy of how Walmley Cricket and Sports Club aims to benefit the local community.
ECB Coaches Code of Conduct (PDF)
Our Cricket Coaches are ECB qualified and follow the ECB Coaches Code of Conduct.

Walmley Cricket and Sports Club holds a current ECB Clubmark accreditation. See Certificate (pdf).
Walmley Colron holds FA Charter Standard Status.
